You do great work. Everybody says so. But you're still getting underbid by guys who don't do half the job, you're bringing in decent revenue and keeping almost none of it, and you've been told to "hustle harder" so many times you want to throw your phone out the truck window.
Nobody ever told you there's another way. So you just keep grinding — because that's the only gear you know.
I get it. Because that was me.
I started a landscaping and property management company from one mower and a beat-up trailer. Built it into a real operation, crews, trucks, and commercial contracts.
And for years, I was stuck in the exact same trap you're in. Underbidding every job to win it. Saying yes to every cheap customer who called. Working dawn to dark and wondering where the money went. I'd walk a property, put together a detailed bid, and lose it to some guy with a truck and a mower, because on paper, we looked the same.
I was the best in town, and I was broke.
So one day I stopped. I stopped negotiating. I raised my prices, not a little, a lot, and I let the cheap customers walk.
What I braced for: an empty schedule.
What actually happened: the bargain-hunters left, better customers showed up, and I made more money doing less work with people I actually liked.
Then I did it again, I built and sold a 160-acre luxury development with professionally designed ponds and landscaping. Same playbook. Works on lawns, works on land.
That's when I realized: the price war isn't something that happens to you. It's a choice. And most owners just never had somebody show them they're allowed to quit playing.
Before I ever picked up a mower, I spent 25 years in the business trenches:
I ran marketing and operations as the COO of a medical device company — took their sales from 500 units a month to 50,000 and helped drive over $495 million in revenue. I worked in venture capital and private equity, restructuring marketing and sales teams at companies bleeding money. I ran a national sales team and trained over 1,200 reps. I have an MBA and a business degree.
I'm telling you this not to brag — but so you know that when I look at your pricing, I'm not guessing. I've turned around businesses a lot bigger than yours, and I've run one just like yours. That combination is why I can see the leaks most people miss.
You don't need more leads. You don't need to hustle harder. And you sure don't need to become a pushy salesman.
You need to stop looking, sounding, and pricing like a commodity — so customers can finally see what your work is actually worth. That's a pricing fix and a positioning fix, not a personality transplant.
I built a system called the Hero Blueprint™ to do exactly that. It's how I get owners out of the price war and into a position where they name their price and pick their customers. It's the same thing I did in my own business — just packaged so I can do it with you in 60 days instead of the years it took me to figure out alone.
I still run my property company. I still get my hands dirty. This isn't something I read about in a book — it's something I live.
And here's what I know for sure: you're not a laborer. You're a solution provider who does great work. You just haven't been shown how to get paid like one.
That's what I'm here for.
